Unintelligible dialog? Check. Amazing cut scenes? Check. Crazy outfits? Check. The next Final Fantasy can’t get here soon enough…
This is a hilarious video of someone who has never seen Star Wars, trying to retell the parts that they know.
At only $45,000 this is a real steal. The only problem is finding space in the living room to fit this awesome piece of technology.
Well, word is now out that Ziff Davis, publisher of gaming site 1UP.com and EGM Magazine, has made some big dealings with UGO Entertainment. Apparently, 1UP was sold to UGO. This certainly will mean big things for 1UP. One of my favorite podcasts, 1UP Yours, is getting the ax
But more importantly for the industry, EGM Magazine is no more. Anyone who has been playing video games for a long time will know EGM. If you walk down the magazine aisle at your local grocery store, and look for a video game magazine (something I’ve been known to do from time to time), you will usually see a few mainstay magazines: EGM, GamePro, and Game Informer. No offense to the others, but EGM is (was) the best of the best. It is sad to think that they’ve now gone the way of the dodo. Now I will be forced to choose one of those “other” (says with nasal tone) magazines. EGM, you’ll be missed.
Remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books? The ones where you had to go to page 112 to fight the dragon or page 216 to leave in the space ship? Well, this is the YouTube equivalent. I hope to see more Chad, Matt, and Rob adventures in the future!
I… am… totally… amazed. Words fail me. Have I said yet that the Nintendo DS is the best system ever invented? What? Not today? Ok. The Nintendo DS is the best system ever invented.
Wow. That’s just… wow.
I’m a little inclined to believe it’s rigged, but I guess, statistically speaking, anything’s possible. If true, then it sure does beat Drew Carey’s Price is Right premiere where everyone won every game (especially if that one was really rigged.) The moral of the story is that if you are going to be on a game show, be on a game show with Drew Carey.
This guy has way too much time on his hands. And his kids have a cool dad.
Combine Chuck, one of my favorite TV shows, with the Gravitron, one of my all time favorite amusement park rides, and you get an excellent episode. Favorite parts:
- “Husky lads throughout Burbank went without britches for Christmas.”
- Big Mike body slamming the bad guy and sending him flying.
- “You’re under arrest, Jill, and I’m breaking up with you.”
- Morgan digging through the trash for a turkey.
