I woke up this morning remembering that I had forgotten to mention the museum we saw yesterday. Between the Vittorio Emanuele Monument and the ruins of the Roman Forum is a hill with museums on it. In the middle of the museums is a statue of Marcus Aurelius (you know, the guy from Gladiator!).

We paid our admission to the Palazzo dei Conservatori, where we saw many extraordinary pieces of artwork from the 6th Century B.C. on.
