Today is Kevin's 21st birthday. Happy Birthday, Kevin!
Well, when we woke up, it was still snowing. Some of us woke up easier than others. It took us about half an hour to put on the snow chains. Then, before leaving Flagstaff, we ate at an Italian food place. Yummy.
The roads were really snowy, so we went really slow until we got to Meteor Crater. The Meteor Crater was really cool. We got some great shots. (Also, admission fees were half price because it was snowy.) At that point, we took off our snow chains, because the snow wasn't on the roads. Morris had to crawl under the car to get off the snow chain and consequently got a little wet.
We did some
sightseeing
in Albuquerque, and tried to get on the road again, heading for Texas, but
the roads were closed due to bad conditions. So, we are spending the night
in Albuquerque and hopefully leaving early next morning.
