Day

With stiff necks, we woke up in the car and headed off to Niagara Falls.

Arriving at the border between Canada and the US, we stopped at a fancy place called the "Niagara Casino". Apparently, in Canada the legal drinking and gambling age is 19, so the guys decided to stay for a few hours. It was here that I realized why "the love of money is the root of many evils". I blew $100 in Canadian money. Oh well, I won't ever do that again.

Within walking distance of the casino was the Niagara Falls. It is quite an amazing sight. We got many pictures.

When we had finished freezing in the cold of Canada, we hurried across the bridge that led to the United States of America. Here again, we were stopped by immigration, but after a little talk with the authorities, we were on our way...

Driving straight through for several hours, we arrived at Boston around 9. At this point we realized that the little yellow line was over Empty on the fuel gauge! Frantically driving around Boston for at least 20 minutes, we finally found a gas station on the outskirts. Trying to find a place to spend the night was also a hassle. We finally found an affordable place to stay about midnight. Who ever designed Boston did a really bad job.

Tomorrow we are sightseeing historic Boston and finally arriving at New York!
